Established in 1998 by the University of Warwick, jobs.ac.uk was created by a community of experts to address the recruitment challenges in higher education.
Since then, we have grown to become a leading job board for academic, scientific, research and professional services roles. Over the last 20 years, we have expanded globally and now attract over 6.5 million website users from 191 different countries.
Our team has a wealth of experience, which we combine with extensive market research to develop insights into our jobseeker audience. We apply our understanding of candidate behaviour, trends and career paths to help 2,765+ organisations worldwide recruit highly qualified individuals.
Following an in‐depth consultation with STEM recruiters, we have developed an understanding of the prevailing recruitment challenges these organisations face in attracting women to their vacancies.
After listening to their concerns, we have decided to launch a new, dedicated careers event to facilitate networking between women in STEM and institutions which work across its fields.
