The world of work is changing quickly. Economic uncertainty, evolving workforce expectations, skills shortages and the growing use of AI are reshaping how organisations operate and how they attract, hire and retain talent.
For employers this presents a new set of challenges. The skills businesses and institutions need are changing, recruitment teams are under pressure to do more with less and candidates are approaching the job market differently. At the same time AI is creating new opportunities for employers while raising important questions about how organisations identify and assess genuine talent.
So what does all of this mean for your organisation and how can you ensure your recruitment strategy is keeping pace?
In this session, Emma Mirrington CEO of The Talent Labs will share the latest trends shaping the talent market and explore what they mean in practice for organisation leaders, HR professionals and hiring managers.
Drawing on external research alongside insights from The Talent Labs community Emma will explore the wider economic and workforce trends influencing recruitment, changing skills requirements, evolving candidate behaviours and the growing role of AI in hiring.
She will also examine how candidates are using AI throughout the recruitment process, the challenges this creates for employers and the practical steps organisations can take to protect the integrity of their hiring processes while maintaining a fair and positive candidate experience.
