Great jobs for bright people

Written by Alex Scott

My name is Alex; I am a final year PhD student at The University of Sheffield. My research is interested in the effects sleep disturbances have on psychotic experiences, particularly paranoia. I am also investigating how self-help interventions can be used to reduce paranoid thinking. I am in the ‘writing-up’ stage of my PhD, which basically means I am turning my data into words and will hopefully have a PhD thesis to show for it in the coming months. I will be writing about everything PhD life, from publication to graduation, and the challenges I face each day. I hope you find it interesting and please do get in touch if you have any questions.
