Great jobs for bright people

Written by Rachel Handforth

My name is Rachel and I am a 2nd year PhD student in the Sheffield Institute of Education at Sheffield Hallam University. My research is in higher education, and my study explores the career aspirations of female doctoral students from across academic disciplines, examining how these aspirations change over the course of a doctorate. My research interests include gender, higher education and identity. I’ll be writing on a variety of topics from dealing with data to wrestling with writing- and if you have any questions feel free to get in touch. In addition to writing for jobs.ac.uk I keep a regular blog of my own about my research specifically, which can be found at https://rachelhandforth.wordpress.com/
